AMP1 : the astonishing pedal amplifier, 100% analog and ultra portable.
The AMP1 is a pedal-style guitar amp head that will fit perfectly into your cabinet or on the floor. It offers a wide range of sounds that are suitable not only for jazz but also for metal. The 100-watt Nanotube power amp allows you to achieve high-quality tube sound with excellent sound pressure. In addition, Nanotube lamps have a longer lifespan than conventional lamps. Thanks to its compact size, the amp fits easily in your gig bag and can also be installed on your pedal board.
Switchable and adjustable boost and reverb channels
In addition to the four clean, vintage, classic and modern channels, the amp is equipped with switchable and adjustable boost and reverb channels. Everything can be controlled through three built-in footswitches. The basic settings can be changed via the rotary knobs on the top. On the left side, you will find 6 buttons allowing you to fine-tune the sound.
Effects loop and noise gate
The AMP1 is specially designed to produce the typical sound of a tube amp, which is why it is perfectly compatible with your effects pedals. You can simply place your favorite pedals between your guitar and your amp, but you can also use the built-in effects loop which is switchable in parallel and series. Via a button on the bottom, you can switch between + 10dB and -4dB. An adjustable ‘noise gate’ is also integrated to eliminate noise.
For the guitarist wishing to take advantage of more tones and possibilities, BluGuitar has developed the Remote1 footswitch and the LooperKit (available separately).
Unique sound
If you wish, you can save your favorite settings as a preset. Via the three footswitches you can switch between presets. The AMP1 can be connected to an 8 or 16 ohm cabinet and has a speaker simulation output for your studio recordings. In addition, it has a headphone output.
