Guitare Fender Telecaster Jimmy Page Mirrored & Dragon

Posted on: Thursday 06 June 2019

Few guitars are as iconic in rock history as the Telecaster. Originally received as a gift from Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page used this 1959 Telecaster to compose those groundbreaking riffs and legendary solos in Led Zepplin’s debut album.

In 1967, probably inspired by Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd, he added eight round mirrors to the body of the guitar to create the Telecaster Mirrored. Around the middle of 1967, he decided to remove the mirrors, strip the instrument and repaint it himself with the help of his art school training. To create, this legendary instrument composed of the emblematic “Dragon”, the Dragon Telecaster.

To recreate these legendary instruments, Fender Master Builder Paul Waller and Jimmy Page himself have collaborated to ensure that each of these guitars is a perfect match to the original. Jimmy Page visited the Fender Custom Shop in Corona, California to personally paint a portion of the dragon motif on each Jimmy Page Dragon Telecaster and personally signed each round of the Jimmy Page Mirrored Telecaster. We are both happy and proud to present these instruments that honor the man, his music and the guitar with which he created it.

Carefully handcrafted by Paul Waller under the direct and careful supervision of Jimmy Page, every component of these guitars matches the original. Although this is a collector’s item, it is still an exact recreation of the original guitars. Therefore, if you feel the need to plug them in, you will get the tones and spirit of this legendary instrument and it may well inspire you with wild and innovative rock.
