An iconic model since its first appearance in 2002, this guitar has made an impression with its spectacular chrome finish, which was a first for Joe Satriani’s signature series at Ibanez. She quickly became an essential model, not only because of her unique appearance, but also because of her characteristics which met the technical requirements of Satriani’s game.
The Chrome Boy was launched as part of the JS series, and it attracted attention with its very futuristic design, especially with its metallic color and modern aesthetic. Joe Satriani has used it on stage on several occasions, which further enhanced its appeal to fans.
The model that we present to you today is the JS3. This is a slightly different model from the original JS1 Chrome Boy. The JS3 is part of Ibanez’s signature JS series, but it has been designed to offer a more affordable price / quality ratio while retaining the characteristics that Satriani guitars are renowned for.

The JS3 is equipped with the famous Edge floating bridge, which allows you to perform bends and dive bombs in a precise way, without the guitar losing its tuning.
Playability
Like most Ibanez guitars, the JS3 is designed to offer great playing speed and optimal comfort. The frets are often slightly smaller and the fingerboard is flat, facilitating quick finger movements.
