"Charleston" or Hi-Hat, whatever you call it, we've got the one you want to buy right here.

What is a Hi-Hat or Charleston?

The Hi-Hat, an English term, is also called a charleston (charley) in French. It is composed of 2 cymbals placed around a rod on a stand allowing the drummer to bring the 2 cymbals closer or further to obtain a more or less dry sound . Commonly manufactured in a diameter ranging from 14 inches to 22 inches, the Hi-Hat allows different types of strikes offering very recognizable sounds made with the sticks or the pedal via the foot: the ping, the crash, the "tchic".
