But Pearl has a unique solution for dampening the snare: the Drum Key Flip Mute.
Simply attach the die-cast, chrome-plated drum key to the top of any tension rod, just as you would when tuning, and lay the leather strap over your drum head. Boullard especially like the included coin pocket, allowing for nuanced damping of varying degrees for a fully personalized sound at a range of dynamic levels. And when you no longer need a muted sound, flip it back and out of the head to return to your natural drum sound. It's so easy!
