Made using the legendary drummer Steve Gadd, Yamaha brings the famous Recording Custom back to life with a new "design".
The design of this new version has been focused on a rounder sonic appearance with a deeper tone.
The 6-ply shells are made from North American birch and the chamfers are cut at 30 degrees. Cosmetic level, the monoblock shells have been redesigned and reweighed in order to generate lower frequencies. The result redefines the notion of “easy to adjust, easy to play!”. The Recording Custom is suitable for any style in any situation.
