The EAD10 pickup features a pair of XY stereo microphones and a trigger, allowing you to capture a balanced sound from all of your drums by placing it in the center of your kit.
The microphone capsule has been specially designed with very high sound pressure resistance and strong noise resistance, suitable for recording drums. The entire pickup, including the grille that covers the microphone capsule, incorporates an acoustic design that allows directivity and frequency characteristics to be adjusted. The preamp is equipped with specific components and the mic itself is designed to squeeze the greatest dynamic range out of a drum kit while maintaining a good balance for recording with clear, dynamic tones.
In addition, the soundbank has been significantly extended by using the kick drum trigger to add PCM tones to your acoustic tones.
