The Roland SPD :: ONE WAV PAD is a new type of digital percussion pad, which allows all types of musicians to add electronic sounds to their palette.
Importing audio files is as easy as connecting the SPD :: ONE WAV PAD to a Mac or PC and dragging and dropping your WAV files onto the displayed storage medium. Whether you need full backing tracks or just one-off sounds, they can be loaded and played in seconds. When you've got everything set, this sturdy yet responsive pad can be played by hand, foot, or drumsticks. The sensitivity of the sensors can be easily adjusted using dedicated controllers. Powered by batteries or AC adapter, the SPD :: ONE WAV PAD can be placed on the floor or on a table, or hung from any holder or drum rack using the supplied adapter. The manipulations are simple, even for musicians who are repelled by the technique: there are only four buttons to turn: on the control panel to change the sound, adjust the volume, the balance ...
