The MEINL Percussion Diego Galé Artist Series Congas and Bongos are exactly what Diego needs in terms of comfort, appearance and sound.
Diego started playing bongos early on, later adding congas. He wanted his signature models to be made of wood because of their classic and original sound which represents the roots of his musical journey. Made from chamchuri wood and equipped with brushed nickel hardware, the cases have a beautiful and unique look. Their sound is rich and dynamic, full of crisp highs and warm bass for studios and live situations. The congas have the classic MEINL barrel shape and are available in two versions: with buffalo skin heads or Remo® Fiberskyn® Symmetry heads. The bongos come with calfskin heads or Remo® Fiberskyn® Symmetry heads.
