Specification

Deep, mystical, mellow - that's what we mean when we talk about the A Integral RAV Vast. Playing it is like opening the door to a whimsical secret world, and the key is the A Integral.

It is a large scale for the pros because it is difficult as soon as the change of the root note offers the possibility of choosing between the major key and the minor key. 6 of the 9 notes of the integral A are tuned in the 3rd octave, while the Ding is tuned in A2 and 2 higher notes are tuned in the 4th octave.

Experienced drummers and handpan players will love this range for its relaxing sound. It is a boon for those looking for an accompaniment for meditation sessions. This drum is perfect for sound healing, music therapy and yoga due to its enigmatic deep sound and incredibly long sustain that is longer than in other RAV Vasts.

It matches well with D Major, C Golden Gate, D Celtic Minor RAV Vasts. If you want to immerse listeners in a truly deep sound, play a duet with the E Low Pygmy.

The A Integral is an enigmatic scale with a very special energetic vibration. It has a dark melodic sound and offers an esoteric vibe.

What makes it different from other RAV Vasts? This scale has a meditative and watery sound. The A Integral refers to Native American culture and is reminiscent of a lone rider crossing a deserted meadow.

It is also a very special scale from a technical point of view. You can easily switch between minor clef and major clef depending on the note you are using as the root note. If you involve the Ding in the game, you get more meditative melodies. If you choose the lower C3 note, you can get a C major sound.

The full scale is common to all makers of steel tongues and hand drums. It's deep and very meditative.

What makes the A Integral by RAV Vast different from others? The RAV Vast is in fact an innovative musical instrument as it merges the concept of the handpan (a steel drum) and the tongue drum (which is usually made of wood). The perfectly formed steel tongues play in harmony to create an ethereal sound perfect for meditation and music composition. You get an instrument that can rival the sound of the handpan for 1/3 the average price of the handpan (and do it easily online in just two steps).

The secret of the RAV Vast lies in the special steel used to create a unique sound. The RAV Vast A Integral is made from 1.5mm steel compared to the usual 2mm thickness of other RAV Vasts. The thinner shell offers incredible sonic depth and longevity. It is also one of the lightest drums in the entire RAV Vast collection (the weight of the A Integral is only 4.9 kg, while the average weight of the RAV Vast is 5.9 kg).

Who this scale will work for

This scale will instantly become one of the favorites in an advanced musician's collection. If you are already familiar with the tongue drum or any other hand drum, you will love the A Integral for the challenge it will be for you and for the opportunities it will offer. This scale can be a bit tricky to manage due to the semitones. It's not the easiest range among other RAV Vasts, but with just a little practice, there's nothing difficult about acquiring A Integral and finding songs on it.

This scale will work great for slow meditative play. The integral A is the first instrument to choose for meditation, relaxation and other mystical musical experiences. If you have already practiced meditation or want to start, A Integral will be a great support (even a motivation to start). Still, it's also great for playing alongside minor sounding pop and rock songs which gives them a darker feel.

You can certainly play a perfect solo using the A-integral, but this scale is really user-friendly to be accompanied by other instruments. It matches many RAV Vasts perfectly, especially the E Low Pygmy, C Golden Gate, D Major (this range actually matches almost any RAV Vast) and the D Celtic Minor (keep in mind that these two have a different sustain).

As for the other instruments, you will find the A Integral creating a good duet with guitar and violin. The violins are GDAE tuned, so a violinist could perfectly match the scale as he will find the same notes in A Integral. For those interested in the accompaniment of guitarists, the A Integral range offers a large number of chord combinations, as it contains the ABCEFG notes, which are close to natural minor. The song that uses a minor usually has a thoughtful and mysterious feeling. When you use the bottom note (the C) as the anchor note, you can play it in C major. It's a great choice for players looking for a unique scale with a major and minor feel on the inside!

If you want to experiment with some ethnic instruments, the A Integral range also works great with the Native American style flute as this scale belongs to American musical culture.

This is one of the most melancholy ranges of RAV. If that mood stands out, cast doubts to rest and ch
