The specialist's opinion
Shedar is the brightest star in the constellation Cassiopeia.
Visible in particular during the starry nights of autumn, its name derives from an Arabic word meaning bust: like that of the conceited Cassiopeia, the Greek myth represented her seated, a mirror in her hand, busy doing her hair.
In keeping with the natural melancholy of the D minor scale, Shedar gives shape to an extraordinary harmonic spectrum, both mystical and contemplative: eleven notes arranged at the top, two at the bottom. A powerful prism of soundtracks, crossing the darkness like a ray of light.
