The specialist's opinion
The Atkin best seller!
This OM37 is for many guitarists a "desert island" guitar, that is to say that if they had to choose only one, it is the one that can do everything!
The OM, or "Orchestra Model" combines full scale length with a slightly reduced body. the body is narrower and shallower than a traditional folk style guitar. The challenge for all OM builders is to allow for a rich and imposing bass despite the smaller and more ergonomic body. The build quality and selected, roasted Sitka spruce top make it a reality. This OM is popular with fingerstyle guitarists, but in truth it is very versatile and is also suitable for songwriters and folk artists who prefer backing playing. The Atkin Guitars team has deviated from the pre-war Martin style in several ways, so this is not a historic reproduction, but a modern British-made guitar with an incredible Mojo .
