The KEPMA F1 OM is an OM (Orchestra Model) format guitar that accomplishes something quite unexpected: it combines a compact guitar size with the huge tone of a jumbo model.
It sounds paradoxical, but trust us, it works!
It features an African Mahogany back and sides, as well as a solid roasted Sitka A + spruce top, which has been refined to deliver perfect frequency response and tonal balance. Thanks to the high-precision construction for which Kepma is renowned, the F1 OM offers you exceptional playing comfort with an action reminiscent of an electric guitar, as well as a simply incredible sonic richness for a guitar of this format. In addition to the exceptional build and tone, the use of state-of-the-art PLEK PRO technology is another major feature of this F1 OM. The latest innovation in guitar manufacturing, PLEK PRO is a complete process that guarantees the optimal playability of each instrument: a computerized machine scans the entire fingerboard, then cuts, files and polishes the frets accordingly . All the work is done under simulated string tension to reproduce standard playing conditions. This makes it possible to obtain an optimal adjustment of the instrument, with a precise intonation and free from any parasitic noise as soon as it comes out of the bag!
