The 814ce has been Taylor's flagship guitar for much of the brand's history.
The popular combination of tonewoods, consisting of Indian rosewood back and sides and a Sitka spruce top, has been enhanced by the addition of a V-bracing, a real revolution in design Acoustic guitars that allow Taylor guitars to produce greater volume, longer sustain, more projection and sharper intonation, resulting in a rich and vibrant tone, tuned across the length of the neck.
The 814ce helped popularize the Grand Auditorium body shape, an original Taylor design with player-friendly curves and a versatile musical response that can be adapted to suit any style and genre. The Taylor's slim neck provides a comfortable playing feel, while premium detailing ensures that the 814ce will always shine in the spotlight.
