A Taylor made in the USA with a premium tone at a very competitive price point, the American Dream series offers the player classic Taylor playability and build quality by using tonewoods that, with minor cosmetic flaws, would normally be ignored.
On the AD22e, the body shape of the Grand Pacific (GP) dreadnought with round shoulders, reminiscent of the vintage era.
A sapele back and sides, associated with a solid mahogany top that brings warmth and concentration on the mids, with a pleasant compression effect thanks to the mahogany. With the same V-Class bracing improving sustain, volume and intonation as other Taylor guitars made in the USA, the American Dream Series offers an array of tone, comfort, playability and aesthetic characteristics found on high-end Taylor models. The AD27e comes in a premium, ultra-light, durable and portable Aerocase case.
