(*) Tap-Tuning: After having been fine-tuned, each table is "Tap-Tuned" (tuned to the ear) to measure the general balance and the frequency response. If the frequency profile does not conform perfectly to the desired one, the table is reintroduced into the CNC to perfect its refinement until its "tuning by ear" corresponds perfectly to the desired response profile for the instrument . The combination of these woods, allied to a revisited X bracing which ensures stability while improving the projection of the instrument, makes the B1 incredibly sonorous. The Rosewood is an extremely delicate wood to work in the solid state because it is quick to split or to deform prematurely once "lowered" to the thickness required for the guitar bill. But thanks to a complete and rigorous wood treatment process, Kepma is able to guarantee the exceptional quality of the finished product.
