The very first model produced by Kepma, the G1 Dreadnought is the cornerstone of the Solid Top series.
Also available in the Grand Auditorium cutaway format, they are equipped with a solid top in Sitka Spruce AA + Torrefied at High Temperature (HTT technology) which has been tailor-made and then patiently "Tap-Tuned" (*) to provide an answer in frequency and tonal balance.
The precisely crafted Indian Rosewood back and sides provide the dazzling highs and precise lows sought by the most demanding guitarists. The use of innovative PLEK PRO technology is another strong point of the G1 models. This is a complete process that guarantees the optimal playability of each instrument: a computerized machine scans the entire fingerboard, to then recalibrate, file, surface and polish the frets accordingly. All the work is done under simulated tension of the strings to reproduce "normal" playing conditions. The PLEK PRO technology thus makes it possible to obtain an optimal adjustment of the instrument, with a precise intonation and devoid of any parasitic noise from out of the case!
