This model was the first production four-string bass to feature active EQ.
Flagship of Music Man, the current StingRay Special is the same as it was forty years ago and therefore benefits from a serious manufacture, a solid hardened steel bridge, a roasted maple neck, Lightweight tuners and the famous Music Man humbucker.
