The specialist's opinion
First introduced in 1976, the StingRay has been revered as one of the most iconic bass guitars in history.
This model was the first production four-string bass to feature active EQ.
Flagship of Music Man, the current StingRay Special is the same as it was forty years ago and therefore benefits from a serious manufacture, a solid hardened steel bridge, a roasted maple neck, Lightweight tuners and the famous Music Man humbucker. All of these combined gives you a look, feel and sound that are remarkably unique.
