Resulting from the know-how of Music Man and BMW Design, the Bongo is a bass apart in the Music Man universe.
This is the first Ernie Ball Music Man bass to use both neodymium pickups and an 18V preamp - now standard on Bongo and StingRay Special models.
The neodymium mic magnets provide the bass with a quick response and represent the full spectrum of tones, giving it a balanced and rounded tone. The preamp is also equipped with a low and high midrange correction, in addition to the traditional bass and treble potentiometers.
