The specialist's opinion
The Gibson Flying was way ahead of its time when it was introduced in 1958, and only 81 shipped that year, but it became very popular in the years that followed.
The classic characteristics of the vintage Flying V have been carefully recreated in this Historic Reissue model.
It is equipped with an ABR-1 bridge, a Korina body as well as a neck through Korian also, Custombucker pickups, an Indian rosewood fingerboard, two volume settings and a setting tone with CTS knobs and a directory type capacitor, with gold hardware.
