Divided by Thirteen CJ 11 - Black Bronco Tolex, Cream V

Inspired by Fullerton's iconic 1950s tweed 1×12 combo that created the quintessential "American" guitar sound, the CJ 11 enhances this classic with improved tone shaping, a mid/gain amplifier circuit, improved output performance and the addition of Master Volume, while retaining the original design's signature appeal.

Unlike the original, which featured a single tone knob and two inputs with individual volume controls, the CJ 11 has a single channel equipped with treble and bass filters, as well as a Master Volume. The addition of a bass control reduces low frequencies when the amplifier is pushed to saturation, avoiding the muddled sound and compression typical of previous models. However, if desired, the classic low-frequency response and strong compression that define the vintage circuit are preserved at higher bass settings. With the addition of a Master Volume, the CJ 11 can deliver a range of drive sounds, from subtle breakup to moderate overdrive and full tweed-like saturation, enhanced by the built-in boost, all at more controllable volumes than vintage models.

The CJ 11 power amp retains the classic 6V6 power tube Duet while upgrading the rectifier tube from a 5Y3 to a more robust 5AR4/GZ34. With an augmented power supply and custom transformers, this design offers better power reserve, louder output, improved clarity in the low frequencies and a wider spectrum of usable overdrive.

Although the CJ 11 builds on a classic '50s design with thoughtful updates based on years of experience, it preserves the essence of what made the original exceptional while offering greater versatility. With its 1×12 speaker cabinet and Celestion G12H loudspeaker, the CJ 11 remains portable while offering performance that far exceeds what its 11-watt output suggests.
