In addition to the capabilities of the original Freeze, the Deep Freeze features layering, adjustable attack / decay speeds, glissando, dedicated volume controls and 3 modes: Latch, Moment and Auto, making it a powerful kickstart pedal well above its weight. The Deep Freeze allows instant sound freezing in three modes of operation. Latch freezes the sound each time the pedal is pressed until the effect is bypassed, while Moment mode freezes the sound only when the pedal is held down. Auto mode automatically captures sound whenever it detects a signal above its threshold for virtually footless freezing. These three modes make Deep Freeze easier to use and adapt to any style of playing. The Deep Freeze controls allow you to further tailor the way the effect works. The separate DRY and EFFECT volume controls allow you to blend signals from subtle accompaniment to 100% effects experimentation. GLISS adjusts the morphing time between frozen sounds, creating otherworldly soundscapes. The SPEED / LAYER knob adjusts either the effect's attack / decay time in Moment and Auto modes, or the amount of layering possible in Latch mode, making it possible to play impossible chords!
