From meaty boost to mellow singing leads, the Spruce Goose steers your sound in a variety of inspiring and musical directions. The Spruce Goose motor is an overdrive circuit known for its natural breaking and amp-like response. This circuit is then elevated to new heights with the LIFT switch that selects between 3 input gain levels. LIFT works effectively as an input boost, causing the front end of the drive circuit to hit harder and produce a more compressed and saturated sound while maintaining its dynamic feel and transparent tone. The GAIN and VOL knobs adjust for precise training and output levels. The EQ of the pedal consists of a TREBLE knob to tame the topping and an active BASS knob to cut or boost the low frequencies. BASS is especially useful for adding girth to single coil guitars or for tightening the lows of warmer humbucker guitars. The Spruce Goose also features true mechanical relay bypass switching with latching and momentary action. Step on the pedal for a normal locking toggle or press and hold the pedal for a momentary blast of gain and boost! Ideal for going out in front of the mix for a quick lick or a moment of sound chaos.
