Inspired by "Japanese Vintage" reissues of particularly sought-after models from the early 1980s, JV Modified guitars revisit these modern classics with great refinement.
The '60s Custom Telecaster features a resonant basswood body and double purfling for an extra touch of elegance. Its two single-coil pickups are tuned to reproduce the classic Tele sound. A four-position selector switch lets you quickly activate each pickup or both pickups in series or parallel. A push/pull tone potentiometer places the pickups in or out of phase with pickup positions 2 and 4. The "Soft V" profile maple neck has a smooth satin finish, and thanks to the 9.5" (241 mm) radius maple fingerboard and jumbo medium frets, you'll run up and down the neck effortlessly.
