Celebrating three decades of collaboration with Grammy Award-winning guitarist Steve Lukather, Ernie Ball Music Man is proud to announce the arrival of the new Luke 4 SSS signature guitar. This fourth guitar in Lukather's signature line of instruments features a roasted alder body, figured roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The Luke 4 is equipped with custom Music Man pickups, providing an incredibly dynamic and responsive playing experience. The pickups are able to achieve a very high output level, a powerful response in the low frequencies, while maintaining a clear and distinct tone at lower volume levels. The Luke 4 SSS shares many standard features of the original Luke guitars, including a contoured double-cut body, 22 nickel frets, 5-way switch, adjustable 12dB boost, vintage Music Man floating tremolo, and comes standard in a Mono case.
