When CF Martin & Co.
launched the 15 series, it created an instrument for serious musicians who wanted to have it all: excellent playability, tone, massive build, with manufacturing in the USA at the Nazareth factory , in Pennsylvania and all at the lowest possible price.
In order to achieve this little miracle, savings have been made without causing any loss of tone or playability. Visually, the 15 series guitars are absolutely simple. The absence of bindings, the matte finish, and minimalist inlays in the East Indian rosewood fingerboards impart a modest appearance. The mahogany soundboard, sides and back support the optical sobriety of these guitars. But it will be enough to play one of these instruments to discover its true talents. Enjoy the balanced and warm sound! The mahogany soundboard supports the concentrated and powerful "punch" of these guitars. The Streetmaster 15 series models also feature a burst finish in aged mahogany to give the impression of being the familiar partner of an experienced musician. Unlike the classic models of the 15 series, the keys of the Streetmaster models are in Katalox. The 000-15M Streetmaster combines the advantages of the 15 Series, in a classic CF Martin 000 shape, with a neck / body join at the 14th fret. Not as imposing as a Dreadnought but enough to deliver a powerful sound. The aged mahogany finish gives this guitar the look of a longtime partner.
