Create mode is a more inspiring listening mode, ideal for writing, producing, and occasional listening. Focus mode is a listening mode centered on the middle frequencies, for a critical analysis of the middle frequency band, where vocals and most instruments have the most energy. They feature 25 combinations of EQs and settings that help minimize and correct problems in your acoustic environment and woven Kevlar® aramid fiber cone woofers for superior damping and modal burst control. The tweeters benefit from a highly damped silk dome acoustic diaphragm to smoothly extend the frequency range up to 40kHz. For maximum transient response and dynamic reproduction, the bi-amplified Class D power amplifiers drive the transducers evenly and more efficiently at reduced operating temperatures to ensure audio integrity during long working sessions. The Rokit Generation Five's silk dome tweeters produce a smooth, natural tone in the high frequencies. Silk, as an acoustic material, has a relatively low resonant frequency, resulting in a smoother and linear response over a wider range of frequencies. This allows for very precise audio reproduction, with minimal distortion or harshness. The smooth sound produced by these tweeters is less likely to tire the listener, even during prolonged listening sessions. The Rokit Generation Five high frequency tweeters and waveguide deliver controlled sound dispersion. This means that they can direct sound waves in a specific pattern, which is advantageous for the soundstage image and for minimizing unwanted reflections and interactions with room acoustics. The Rokit Generation Five tweeters feature excellent damping and resonance control mechanisms. This helps minimize unwanted resonances, ringing tones and distortions, resulting in sharper and more accurate sound reproduction.
