The specialist's opinion

The DR-60D MKII is a compact 4-track digital audio recorder, designed for use with a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) or digital single-lens mirrorless (DSLM) camera used as a camcorder .

It attaches to the camera, and offers different audio inputs / outputs, in order to record the sound in high resolution, in parallel to the image, but on a medium separate from that on which the camera stores the data video.

The '' HI + PLUS '' position allows a maximum input gain of 64 dB
The stereo mini-jack input is compatible with microphones requiring a `` plug-in '' type supply voltage, which allows the use of video camera microphones and other microphones with a high output level ( maximum input: +10 dBV)
Low-cut filter, attenuating low-frequency noise (switchable cut-off frequency 40 Hz, 80 Hz, 120 Hz)
Transmit a high-quality audio signal to a digital camera for recording
