Seganona op. 109 Suite dimpressionspour 2 clarinettes et clarinette basse
Item No. : 194631
The specialist's opinion
Seganona, the Celtic title of this series of impressions, is at the origin of the ancient phonetic meanders that successive populations have given to this Swiss river that today is called the Sarine and which is said to be etymologically the little "sister of the Parisian Seine and the Lyon Saône".
Throughout these Impressions, one can - imaginary walk - go up the course of the Sarine: serene and slack in Friborg (Pavane), brightening up Gruyère and the Pays d'Enhaut with the freshness of its water (Courante), its banks sheltering number of romantic sites (Air) and gushing happily from its source (Gigue).
