Voyage a cappella is a method of a cappella choral singing that introduces you to the musical language consisting only of sung onomatopoeias, without words, thus developing the sonic imagination, collective and individual musicality, and musical creation.
The teacher is accompanied step by step throughout this method thanks to playful sound games based on listening and sharing the collective song.
Attention is focused on essential musical codes: listening, rhythms, cycles, expression and imagination. It is possible to go further with expression sets. Voyage a cappella includes 5 original compositions inspired by world music and current music, so we can hear different styles: rhythms and songs from the world (Africa, Brazil, ...), varieties, blues, gospels, waltz, reggae, groove ... To each song corresponds its score (in Pdf on the CD), its onomatopoeic text, some advice in its implementation, ideas for improvisation, the scales for guidance, possibilities of distribution of the voices by groups according to the level of the singers.
