The specialist's opinion
Spectravox is an innovative desktop synthesizer and the latest member of the semi-modular Moog family.
An analog spectral processor based on a 10-band filter bank, Spectravox creates drone-like sounds, colorful tonal sweeps and adds resonant depth and psychedelic spectral movements to the sound.
Plug in a microphone and the Spectravox becomes a 10-band analog vocoder with innovative built-in modulation of its filters. Spectravox explores and extends the topology of the vocoder as well as that of a conventional Filterbank. It is a very flexible instrument and signal processor with a large patch bay.
